It’s that time of the year… THE AWARD SHOWS!!
Whether it’s the Golden Globes, Emmy’s, Screen Actors Guild (SAG), Oscars, Flimfare or the IIFA. Celebrities getting all dressed up, and wearing new trends hot off the runway… Uhhhhh-mazes me. (Thinking) Why??
Well because, I love to see how people can pull off those Haute looks from the runway into reality. Everyone has different body, hair, skin so on, I get inspired by the way a person carries off a look and make it into their own.
Here are my favorites from this past Sunday’s Golden Globe’s Red Carpet.
The mommy-to-be Kerry Washington wore a chic custom made Balenciaga dress. With a plunging neckline, draped detailing, this was the perfect way to show off her baby bump. Kerry finished her look off with loose hair, white sandals and clutch with Fred Leighton diamond pendant earrings and diamond brooch.
Still glowing from her New Year Eve’s wedding, the Newlywed Kaley Cuoco wore a floral patterned, strapless gown from Rani Zakhem Fall 2013 Couture Collection. With the mixed reviews out there, I absolutely loved the dress. Celebrities rarely wear prints on the Red Carpet. Plus Kaley wore these cute Jimmy Choo bag & flats under her gown, loose hair parted to the left, bling from Ivy Jewels, she looked effortless.
Naomi Watts’ was this year’s Goddess of Golden Globe’s, in Tom Ford’s clingy silver dress with the chunky gold necklace. The beaded halter neck had these unique side cut-outs, which showed just the right amount of skin. Naomi paired this metallic gown with Bulgari vintage Serpenti watch-bracelet, Bulgari gold python clutch and Bulgari gold necklace. Naomi just proved, you can never have too much sparkle!
Once a natural brunette, Kate Mara, timid star has never before revealed quite so much of cleavage on red carpet. The new hairdo might have given her that confidence to step out of her comfort zone. The metallic dress perfectly compliments the platinum tone of her new locks.
The bombshell blond looked electricfyingly hot in J. Mendel Pre-Fall 2014 gown with a deep v-neckline and a sheer chiffon pleated underlay. She accessorized her ensemble with Smythson clutch, Lorraine Schwartz jewels, and Charlotte Olympia shoes.
Mila Kunis, one of the most natural beauties of her generation, wore a beautiful Gucci Première silk chiffon halter-neck. The top half of the dress was shimmered with sequins to give a heavy look, and was balanced by the flowy bottom half. This sophisticated ensemble was finished off with her hair styled in an elegant low bun, Gucci shoes and clutch, and Gemfields emerald earrings with bangle.
Kate Beckinsale, whose known to wear strapless mermaid silhouette on the red carpet looked exquisite. She wore an embellished silver dress from Zuhair Murad Fall 2013 Couture Collection, the pattern of the dress beautifully highlighted Kate’s slim waist. She finished her look off with a clutch by Edie Parker and jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz and Chopard.
The newly engaged young actress, Emma Roberts picked Lanvin’s black mermaid dress the day off the Golden Globes. By choosing this dress, she made her diamond engagement ring pop out even more. The dress had a sweetheart neckline, clung to the slender star’s body. Emma finished off her ensemble with slick hair to the back, a pair of turquoise Neil Lane earrings to give some color to the outfit, Charlotte Olympia shoes, rings by Chopard and Jennifer Meyer with a Kotur bag.
Sofia Vergara known to wear mermaid silhouettes, changed things up this time around with a voluminous, black ball gown from Zac Posen’s Pre-Fall 2014 Collection and a eye catching turquoise statement necklace by Lorraine Schwartz. Fashion Critics had mixed opinion regarding the bold accessory.
I follow Sofia Vergara on instagram, if you don’t already know, lemme tell you… This woman is over the top crazy and fun-loving. This classic strapless gown and the bold necklace, makes Sofia’s personality pop out.
